I find the human body fascinating. I started drawing from a very young age and from that time I've always drawn people. I've spent hours studying anatomy and drawing disembodied arms, legs, hands and heads. There is something I find intriguing about the body that I always wished to capture. I think it's natural to gravitate towards what draws you in and claim a part of that gravity for yourself. As a result, I gravitated toward an attempt to blend the sensual form of the female with a unique style. Drawing all those years turned out to be a gateway drug into the depths of photography. When I picked up photography in October of 2010 my goal from the beginning was to capture the human form. I've studied all I could get my hands on; every picture, poster, magazine cover or movie. I've read blogs and books in a quest to control the capture of the human form exactly as I want. A majority of my photography deals with feminine sensuality. I'm constantly looking for ways to express that sensuality in a way that is equally thought provoking. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes I fail. Sometimes I don't know which one a particular picture will be until some time after the shutter is released.
I'm pretty new to photography, regardless of what I'll admit to myself. I hold myself to the standards of a seasoned pro; a blessing and a curse. I don't know where I want to peruse the cruel mistress that is the constant need to create. All I know is that I want my work to have a recognizable signature that draws the viewer in until they feel they've known me for years.
